Cardiff Alpacas

Situated on a 55-hectare alpaca and llama stud, as well as a sugar cane farm, the location is conveniently positioned just off the Pacific Hwy on Harwood Island, within the Clarence River area. The vast, well-maintained pastures offer a range of serene and secluded campsites. Additionally, there are pockets of natural vegetation that provide shade and shelter for guests. Nearby amenities include shopping centres, surfing beaches, and areas known for their exceptional natural beauty. The host operates as a cottage industry, handling alpaca fleece processing and the creation of various products from it. They also conduct regular tours and manage a small farm shop. Visitors can also enjoy a selection of home-cooked meals during their stay. It's important to note: Prior to booking, guests should carefully review both the information provided here and the Property Rules. All reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, and direct contact with the host should be avoided. The campsite facilities are basic and most suitable for campers with self-contained setups. There are no general toilet or ablution facilities provided, although portable toilet and shower units are available for hire (details can be found under Extras). If extras or meals are booked, the options for campsites may be limited. This stay is hosted via Hipcamp, featuring information provided by the Host about their offering.
