Notorious is unique, a full-size, wooden, sailing, re-creation of a C15th Portuguese or Spanish caravel. It is the only sailing caravel in the Southern Hemisphere. It is Australia's earliest ship re-construction. Notorious is Australia's only lateen-rigged ship. It's is an active, sailing Museum Ship, visiting more than forty ports, enthralling thousands of visitors. Open for Public Inspection, Onboard and Below Deck, when berthed at a port of call. Amateur shipwright and now Captain, Graeme Wylie, researched, designed and created Notorious single-handedly, from salvaged Monterey cypress logs. Notorious has sailed over 16,000 NM in the Southern Ocean, Bass Strait, the Tasman and Coral Seas since her 2011 launch....
