The wild is calling at Monarto Safari Park, the largest safari experience outside of Africa. Monarto Safari Park is home to more than 500 exotic and Australian native animals, including many of Africa’s most impressive animals such as rhinos, lions, giraffe, meerkats and chimps. Explore the open plains of the park and its abundant flora and fauna by discovering some or all of the 12 kms of walking trails and by hopping on the Zu-loop shuttle bus for a guided tour of the park. As you travel around the open plains of Monarto Safari Park, you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve stepped out onto your very own African safari! The journey takes you through large open-range exhibits, allowing you to see the animals in a natural setting and to hear more from passionate guides! To make the most of your visit, make sure you hop off at the viewing platforms, enjoy a keeper presentation or book an up-close Animal Experience for your opportunity to come face to face with some of our animals. Mingle with meerkats, experience the thrill of hand-feeding ginormous giraffe, feel the roars of lions reverberate through your chest or leap into the Land of Lemurs....
