  Join one of our local guides and experience the wonders of Remarkable Rocks, Flinders Chase and Admirals Arch. You will be able to see wildlife in their natural environment as well as these wonderful Kangaroo Island icons. Enjoy a fabulous lunch in a bushland setting. Pick up and then off to Rocky River, headquarters of the Flinders Chase National Park. The Chase is home to all our varieties of native animals and birds. On to Admirals Arch, an ancient limestone formation close to the ocean, a perfect haul-out area for an active colony of Long Nosed Fur Seals. Then to Remarkable Rocks, via the spectacular coastline of Cape du Couedic. Travel out of the park to visit Koala Avenue, and a stroll through Grassdale Historic Farm. A short bushwalk searching for the Echidna or Spiny Ant Eater and observing the colourful Kangaroo Island endemic Crimson Rosella. Continue to Vivonne Bay, its crystal clear water supports a colony of little penguins. Your guide will take you to Point Ellen where you can fossick for shells and possibly sight a penguin in its rookery. • Wilderness South Coast Day Tour - 1DWSC

  

  We have designed this tour for those of you that have limited time; it takes in Seal Bay, Koala Avenue, Flinders Chase, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch and travel in our luxury seven seat four wheel drive vehicles. If you have a tight program let our local guides show you as much as they can in a day, but we really recommend you stay for at least two days if you can. Kangaroo Island Wilderness Tours operate flexible, personalised, small group, four wheel drive vehicle touring packages designed to bring you closer to the island's unique wild animals and nature. If you’re looking to experience the wonderful fare offered by the artisans of Kangaroo Island then look no further than this tempting but relaxing tour which takes in the food and wine producers of this island paradise. Kangaroo Island has long been known for its wildlife, coastal scenery and rolling hinterland. Kangaroo Island Wilderness Tours can still take you to all these places in style & the comfort of its exclusive Land Rover fleet. The “Tasting KI” lunch will feature KI produce with tastings of Marron, Crayfish (in season), King George Whiting as all possible starters. All accompanied by a selection of Kangaroo Island fine wine. Enjoy this in a picturesque creek bed setting on a secret location, exclusive to Kangaroo Island Wilderness Tours. • Wilderness Island Culture Day Tour - 1DWIC

  

  Visit the picturesque little town of American River and look for the Glossy Black Cockatoo. Take in the views of Pelican Lagoon marine sanctuary and dip your toes in the clear, blue waters of Pennington Bay. Head over to the east of the Island and explore the quaint coastal township of Penneshaw. Enjoy your picnic lunch under the Paper Bark trees that line the Chapman River or in our exclusive, secluded bush setting on 'Shorty' Road (named after a local farmer) Walk along the beautiful Antechamber Bay to look for penguins, and fossick for shells. Climb up the oldest lighthouse in South Australia at Cape Willoughby on the far eastern tip of the Island. Venture down a bush track through private land, to arrive at the wild southern Coast. Explore The cliff tops and discover the resident long nose fur seal colony. There will be plenty of photo opportunities while visiting 'YMCA" corner where you will find one of the largest mobs of Kangaroos on the Island.

• Wilderness Wildlife Day Tour- 1DWL

  

  Learn how the Australian sea-lion survives the rigours of the Southern Ocean. The colony of bulls, cows and pups rests on the beach where you can walk amongst them. Journey further south and enjoy a pleasant, easy walk through the bush and come out at the base of KI’s spectacular and vast sand dunes of Little Sahara. From the South Coast we traverse the rural areas of the middle of the Island via the Parndana Wildlife Park. This park was set up as an ‘animal refuge’, where sick, injured, orphaned or unwanted animals could find a home. Lunch today is a picnic of marinated Chicken breast, fresh salads, tangy Lemon Tart. The north coast beaches of Snellings and Stokes Bay are perfect for a leisurely stroll. Enjoy the sound of waves breaking on the pristine sandy coast, or if the weather allows, go for a swim in some of the clearest water you will ever experience. Later in the day enjoy a nature walk through the drooping she-oaks of Lathami Conservation Park and observe the kangaroos and wallabies. This is also the habitat of the rare Glossy Black Cockatoo, and great country for the elusive echidna (spiny ant-eater).
