Broome International Airport (BIA) is the regional hub of the north western part of Western Australia. Considered the gateway to the Kimberley, it meets the needs and expectations of the Community and industry, including the development of LNG in Browse Basin. Servicing over 300,000 passengers every year, Broome International Airport is the largest regional airport in the state. There are shopping and dining outlets within the Terminal which operate to suit departing flights (generally open one and half hours prior to departure). Complimentary baggage trolleys are available for both arriving and departing passengers. Additionally there are automated teller machines (ATMs) located in the Departure Terminal at the Check-In area, and in the Departure Lounge within the Pandanas Shop.
