Naturaliste Charters offer Whale Watching Tours and Bremer Canyon Killer Whale Expeditions. They offer four different departure locations along the stunning South West coast of Western Australia. Tours depart from Bremer Bay, Augusta, Dunsborough and Busselton. Bremer Canyon Killer Whale (Orca) Expeditions were established in 2014, Naturaliste Charters are the founders of the expeditions. Bremer Bay is the only place in Australia where you can reliably encounter Orca with the best-guaranteed sightings in the world. The Bremer Canyon Expeditions depart daily from Bremer Bay from January to April. It is a full day trip with catering and beverages included. Their 2.5-hour Whale Watching Tours operates from Augusta: mid May to August, Dunsborough: August to November and Busselton: September to November. Their vessel is "Alison Maree" - a 20-metre catamaran which has been purpose-built for the Southern Ocean providing excellent stability and comfort. With a passenger capacity of 90 people and a variety of viewing platforms, "Alison Maree" is brilliant for wildlife interaction. Passenger numbers are limited to 50 for the comfort of their passengers. The vessel is suitable for all age groups and life jackets are available for peace of mind....

    Encounter an astonishing aggregation of marine wildlife on an unforgettable oceanic expedition. From January to early April, their full day expeditions visit one of the least explored places on earth and the only place in Australia you can reliably encounter killer whales (orca), the ocean’s undisputed apex predator. Your expedition may also see pods of long-finned pilot whales, sperm whales, a rare beaked whale or blue whale. You can also admire the acrobatics of large pods of bottlenose, striped and common dolphins and encounter shark species that include great whites, whaler sharks and the beautiful oceanic blue, a species never seen from shore. Enormous oceanic sunfish surface and the remains of giant squid sometimes float on the surface, a predator of the deep reduced to scraps, squabbled over by an astonishing array of pelagic seabirds including albatross, shearwater and petrel species. Naturaliste Charter’s world-renowned full day Killer Whale Expeditions run from Bremer Bay, a 2 hour drive from Albany or 5.5 hour drive from Perth, Western Australia. Expeditions depart daily. Arrival at 7.45am at the Bremer Bay Boat Harbour, vessel departs at 8.30am and returns around 4.30pm from January to early April.

    From May to August you can join Naturaliste Charter for a 2 hour tour from Augusta or Albany to see the whales whilst on their Northern migration. From September to early December you can join Naturaliste Charters for a 2.5 hour tour from Dunsborough and Busselton to see the whales on their Southern migration. Tours are conducted on their 20 metre purpose built vessel "Alison Maree", the family friendly vessel offers multiple viewing decks, toilets and full access to the Captains lounge. The species of whales you will have the opportunity to view include Southern Right Whales, Humpback Whales and the rare Blue Whale. Suitable for all age groups, experience the beauty of the majestic whale with Naturaliste Charters. All crew have been trained with a marine science background and are professional tour guides.
