Go kayaking on the glorious Nepean River. Horizon Line offers kayak and stand-up paddle board (SUP) hire and, if you haven’t got roof racks on your car, will even provide trolleys so you can walk your vessels down to the riverbank, just 500m from the store. The Nepean’s calm waters are perfect for beginners. You can choose from kayaks that you sit in or sit on top of (both single and double) as well as SUP boards. All can be hired by the hour, the half-day or the day. And, if you want to take them away for a few days to tackle more challenging waters, that’s a possibility, too. Guided two-hour river tours are also available. And, if you feel you could do with gaining a bit of kayaking know-how, customised lessons can teach you everything from the basics to how to do an eskimo roll....
