Lochlorian is situated in the picturesque Southern New England Highlands. Perfect for the fly and lure fishing enthusiast or an idyllic family getaway. It is approximately 1,300 metres above sea level, providing the ideal cool climate for trout. Summers at Lochlorian offer a pleasant relief from the high temperatures of the lower country, while winters may offer the delights of crisp white snowfalls The dam was constructed in the early 1970s and in the past has been used for water skiing, irrigation and stock water. More recently, the dam has been used solely for trout fishing and regularly stocked with Rainbow Trout since 1985....

The Lodge is split-level and fully self-contained. The loft sleeps four to five adults with a queen-sized bed and three single beds. Each bed (including the fold-out in the sitting room) is made with a woollen underlay, sheets, blanket, woollen quilt and pillow - to keep you snug and warm. But if in doubt there are hot water bottles in the kitchen drawer. If more bedding is required you are able to bring swags.
