The Shack is a stone cottage situated on a hill roughly 100 metres from the gorgeous Clarence River. The facilities are basic but your position is magnificent. The Shack sleeps 10 to 15 people comfortably with bedding and toilet. You are located only a short boat ride to the Clarence River Gorge and the land surrounding you is perfect for a bush walk.
Camping on the Winters Property which is located on the Clarence Gorge is not your average camping experience, you will need to be well equipped or love to rough it in the bush. There are no facilities other than the toilet block located at the Homestead and there is no real designated camp area so your options are abundant. If you wish to travel up river via boat or travel via four wheel drive into the wilderness, whatever your desire is your wish. Please contact operator for more details on the property. Barbecue plate (half inch thick) and wood are supplied. Rubbish is collected daily. Block ice is available from Homestead.
