Salisbury Lodges is a true wilderness retreat, sharing a boundary with the Barrington Tops National Park, it is located on the southern slopes with Williams River frontage and is the closest accommodation to the World Heritage-listed rainforest. Walking in pristine rain forests, swimming in clear crystal rivers, sharing an environment with some of the most unique wildlife, making it a chance to truly get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life or even doing absolutely nothing in the peace and quiet of the blue gums. Two cosy self-contained open plan studio lodges over looking lily lake with full spa bathrooms, log fires, kitchenette, dining area, all linen provided, flat screen television, BluRay, VCR, and private balcony, (with the sound of the Williams River going by). These lodges are well equipped with king beds. Two night minimum stay on weekends. A variety of birds visit the Lake Lodges and greet you outside your balcony. It really is like being in a private tree house. In winter enjoy the glow of the fire, perhaps with dinner served to you in your room, or just relaxing after a good days walk.
Unique spa rooms with rock exterior , there is a common foyer sharing with one other room. The rooms are not large but comfortable and you will get a good nights sleep and they have there own fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities. The barbecue area with microwave which is share with other room - with a barbecue provided for both rooms. The veranda is long and has outdoor furniture for each, out side room. The views are of the bush and gardens with lots of visiting birds. Enjoy a Pot Belly fire (fire restrictions apply) on the veranda and for the relaxing read a book a hammock .
Features include: large open fire, full kitchen including dishwasher, dining room with 12 place dining table and laundry. There are two master bedrooms with en suites, and a family room with king bed and four singles or can be six singles, and bathroom. It has many verandas including one with an under cover barbecue and places to simply relax and a super lounge room to get together of an evening. Great for a small group and families. It will sleep up to 10 people. It is ideal for small groups - you can self cater or be pampered and take advantage of the modern Australian menu at Araluen Restaurant.
Unique with its river rock exterior and sprawling veranda. It has two separate motel style double rooms offset to each other with a foyer in between. With double spa bathrooms, television, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and all linen is supplied. There are barbecue facilities on the veranda. An excellent place to sneak away for a good nights sleep.
