Moonee Beach Reserve, where Moonee Creek meets Moonee Beach is a family friendly picnic area with large pandanus trees to sit under and watch the water. The reserve boasts many facilities including a playground, picnic shelters, barbecues, toilets, beach showers, a takeaway shop and a holiday park offering pet-friendly options. Visitors can stroll to Green Bluff Headland by crossing the creek via the boardwalk bridge. The Solitary Islands Coastal Walk totems direct visitors along the bush path, through the littoral rainforest to breath taking ocean views. Moonee Creek estuary offers spots for kayaking and paddling with plenty of marine and bird life. Due to strong tidal currents, it is recommended to keep away from where the creek meets the sea during outgoing tides....
