Poppy’s Cottage, Award Winning Bed and Breakfast, is set on 140 acres 10 minutes to Armidale. \ Enjoy cosy, warm accommodation in the historic Settlers’ Cottage. A beautiful hamper breakfast is included in the tariff. The small cottage is set in two acres of established, leafy, English-style garden, interspersed with old-fashioned perennials and roses. With two bedrooms and en suite, the cottage is totally private., and well equipped with crockery, cutlery and a good-sized dining table. Television is available on request. Good heating is offered in the winter and fans in the summertime. Delicious hamper breakfasts include a bowl of fresh fruit salad each day, yoghurt, orange juice, cereal and home-baked bread with jams from the orchard fruit trees. Well geared for children with very friendly animals and a trampoline. Children like to collect eggs from the hens. With pet ducks in the garden, children have plenty of opportunity for an enjoyable farm experience. The ducks may be hand fed by the children. They also have a cat with a most interesting personality and a rather cheeky little miniature horse named Coki. Their beloved Border Collie Sassy is loved and adored by every guest.   Enjoy cosy, warm accommodation in the "Settlers' Cottage" nestled in the garden of 1901 homestead. With two bedrooms and en suite, the cottage is totally private. An extra bedroom on the side of the house (and a private bathroom) is available for larger numbers. Breakfast includes a large selection of fresh and poached fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice plus full cooked breakfast with fresh farm eggs. In warmer weather breakfast is served in the garden beneath the fruit trees. Poppy's is situated on a long lane bordered by elm trees providing a perfect afternoon walk. Poppy's Cottage is located 10 minutes from Armidale.
