Join our tours, talks and lectures to explore and discover more about the National Gallery of Australia (NGA), the collection and special exhibitions. Learn about local and international artists and be inspired by the National Art Collection. Our extensive program of talks and workshops covers topics including art and design, architecture, literature and history - there is definitely something for everyone. We have free guided tours of the NGA highlights every day. Special exhibition tours times vary and tickets may be required. We have tours for groups tailoring to special needs and abilities such as our Art and Dementia program tours, sign-interpreted lectures and tours for people with vision impairment. The NGA is an awesome place to bring the kids and get creative. There’s plenty on offer with regular programs and interactive opportunities to engage with the national collection and exhibitions on display.
