Seaford is home to one of Port Phillip Bay's best hidden beach gems. With a beautifully refurbished pier, stretches of white sand and crystal clear waters, Seaford Beach is a fantastic place to spend the day. Gather your friends and family for a walk along the beach and pier, an ideal place at sunrise or sunset to capture spectacular photos of the area. As you walk along the boardwalk, you can spy the ‘Intervention’ whale sculpture with its description. A short walk from Seaford train station, the beach is also close to the shops, restaurants and a supermarket. Public barbeques are available at the car park off Station Street. The Seaford Foreshore Reserve is a five kilometre trail through Coastal Banksia Woodland alongside the sand dunes from Keast Park to Mile Bridge. It is an easy walking trail suitable for prams, wheelchairs and dogs are welcome on leads. Part of the Frankston Coastal Arts Trail, near Station Street, is the wrought iron ‘Hermitage’ sculpture. An archway that has its own story. A return walk is possible through Kananook Creek Reserve, running parallel to the foreshore on the other side of the Nepean Highway....
