Yellow Brick Road and Elton John Mural

Mackay City Centre’s Yellow Brick Road is a must-visit city attraction. Officially opened by Mayor Greg Williamson on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, the Elton John-inspired mural was commissioned by local business, Sun City Signs, and is located on the external Westpac building wall in the City Centre. This colourful and quirky art piece is the perfect backdrop for some Summer photos and can be found in Fourth Lane, off Wood Street.
