Homestead Camp at Avon Valley National Park

Homestead Camp is located in the stunning Avon Valley National Park. Close to jarrah, marri and powderbark forest, the valleys themselves are forested with wandoo, making for peaceful bushwalks through the area. It's also a great place to see a wide variety of wildflowers and bird life in the spring. The campground itself is accessible only by four wheel drive and features tent sites, picnic tables, fire rings, toilets and water (untreated). It is suitable for tents and small caravans or camper trailers only. Campfires are usually permitted between 1 April and 30 November but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. Bring your own firewood. Bookings cannot be made.   Homestead campground provides a large, flat camping area in the centre of the park suitable for caravans and camper trailers. This campground features tent sites, picnic tables, fire rings, toilets and water (untreated). There is no vehicle access to the river in the park.
