Visitors are guided through the Telstra Museum Brisbane by ex PMG employees who worked with the equipment during their telecommunication career. Several exhibits are 'hands on' with working manual and automatic phone exchanges, Morse code sets and working pairs of teleprinters (TELEX machines). The society does not make a direct charge but suggests visiting commercial operations and adult groups make a donation of Gold coin per head. On bookings or tours on days other than Wednesday tours are encouraged to make a donation of $5.00 per person to contribute to museum maintenance.
