The Victorian Artists’ Society (VAS Gallery), established in 1870 by early impressionist painters, is one of Australia’s most significant art institutions that continues to be a vibrant creative hub housed in a beautifully restored heritage building. Centrally located on Albert Street in East Melbourne, the Heritage Victoria and National Trust-listed building will be featured in the popular Open House Melbourne event on the 24th and 25th of July. Come and visit to see the wide variety of both local and international artists in a constantly rotating roster of fortnightly exhibitions in five charming galleries.
