Collingwood Children's Farm is only five kilometres from the centre of Melbourne. Nestled on Wurundjeri Land on a bend of the Birrarung (Yarra River) lies seven hectares of paddocks, gardens, orchards, rustic buildings and shady trees. A not-for-profit organisation that aims to support people in the Victorian community who are experiencing adversity, supporting social inclusion by delivering a range of programs from a community working farm. Come for a leisurely stroll or picnic while engaging with our animals and farming community. Your entry fees support the animals, land, and community programs. Visitors can wander around, meet the animals, help with farm chores, go into the paddocks with the sheep and goats, cuddle a guinea pig, waddle with the ducks, cluck with the chooks, explore market gardens or just sit and unwind under a shady tree or on the banks of the River. Schools can book educational tours and volunteers can sign up to engage in the farm in a range of ways. The farm is host to a wide range of events and is a fantastic venue for weddings, parties, family days and more. See website for more information. A Farmer's Market is regularly held in the precinct. The Farm Cafe offers a variety of foods catering for adults, children and functions....
