Penrith Whitewater Stadium

Please note: Due to maintenance, Penrith Whitewater Stadium will not be available for activities from Monday 15 May 2023. Activities are planned to resume in early September 2023. Penrith Whitewater is located only an hour from Sydney at the foot of the world famous Blue Mountains. Purpose built for the canoe/kayak events during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games; it's the only man-made whitewater river of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. The channel has been designed to recreate the characteristics of a wild river and provides the watercourse for whitewater rafting and kayaking. Guided and self-guided trips are offered. Both are 90-minutes in duration. Guided rafting is an action packed introduction to whitewater rafting. Adventure level is moderate to high. They recommend that you be physically fit, a strong swimmer and be very confident in the water. Participants must be at least 12 years and have a sense of adventure! The necessary equipment is provided and all fun takes place under the friendly guidance of their trained river guides....
